| Who's
Calling Selects teleSys MACH7-HA Platform For Real-Time
Interactive Call Measurement & Monitoring Services
Burlingame, California
August 2, 2001
teleSys Software, Inc. announced today that Who's
Calling has selected its MACH7™-High Availability
(HA) Platform to enhance their real-time interactive
business-to-business call measurement and monitoring
services. The MACH7-HA platform provides a highly
available turnkey system, with the necessary Application
Programming Interfaces (APIs) to easily add their
own network service applications.
"We
selected the teleSys platform because of their signaling
expertise in the telecommunications industry,"
says Dan Horton, CTO of Who's Calling. "After
evaluating many vendors, we selected the MACH7-HA
platform because of its performance, high availability,
and distributed MTP3 layer, which will enhance the
performance of our product.
The MACH7-HA
Platform is a high availability platform for network
equipment providers, application developers, system
integrators and service providers. The platform's
open system architecture offers benefits to companies
deploying new network-based applications, including
"24x7" operations, cost-effective open platforms,
major protocols in the SS7 and IP networks, and greater
than 99.999% (5 Nines) availability.
Who's Calling
offers both standard and enhanced service subscriptions
services. Standard service is a fully loaded call
measurement program that generates more than 30 reports
with detailed information for every inbound call,
even those that do not connect due to busy signals
or hang-ups. Enhanced service features include Who's
Calling's Voice View and Caller View options. Voice
View, a real-time interactive call recording system,
allows client firms to listen to calls via the Internet
or the telephone in order to evaluate customer service
responsiveness and provide specific training to improve
customer-handling skills. Caller View provides name
and address detail for every inbound call, thereby
enhancing sale leads and direct mail opportunities.
"This
agreement further demonstrates our ability to provide
a complete SS7 suite of products for the telecommunications
market," says Bobby Bahl, CEO of teleSys Software.
"teleSys MACH7-HA Platform will help to solidify
Who's Calling as the leader in the emerging call measurement
& monitoring services market."
